De peste 40 de ani, Tezaurul folcloric rămane aproape de credințele și tradițiile noastre, aducand Sărbatoarea de Paști, în casele românilor de pretutindeni.
Va fi o întâlnire cu aceia care respectă, păstrează și își continuă viața după legile moștenite din generație în generație cu aceia, cu care noi, echipa emisiunii Tezaur folcloric, ne-am propus să reconstiuim sărbatoarea de Paști, cu toate elementele specifice ei: cantec, port, gastronomie, elementul fundamental, constituindu-l bucuria întalnirii cu rude, vecini, neamuri si prieteni, de aproape sau de departe, cu publicul nostru drag.
Anul acesta, în duminica Paștilor, în această ediţie specială a emisiunii Tezaur folcloric, vor fi prezenți membri ai Ansamblului Artistic Profesionist Ciprian Porumbescu din Suceava şi Ansamblul Folcloric Ţara Vrancei din Focşani.
De asemenea, vor fi prezenți reprezentanți de seamă ai folclorului bucovinean care își vor etala, în toata splendoarea, calitățile de buni păstrători ai obiceiurilor de Paști, de la care nu lipsește spiritul curat, viu al bucovinenilor, binecunoscuți pentru ospitalitate și vrednicie, gazde primitoare pentru invitați din alte zone folclorice ale țării. Este vorba despre Grupul Folcloric Piatra Şoimului, grupul de fluieraşi Ilie Cazacu cu coordonatorul Liviu Ţăranu-Tezaur Uman Viu, Sorin Filip, Pamfil Roată şi Ancuţa Corlăţan.
Momentele de tradiții si obiceiuri vor fi însoțite de voia bună și frumusețea cantecului marilor interpreți ai folclorului romanesc, participand, Sava Negrean Brudaşcu, Floarea Calotă, Maria Murgoci, Ilie Medrea şi Ana Ilca Mureşan.

The story of Fleetwood Mac is one of two halves. The first half began within the British blues scene of the late 1960s, where the band’s founder, Peter Green, honed his talent. Peter Green asked fellow Bluesbreakers John McVie and Mick Fleetwood to form a new band after they successfully collaborated in the studio on an instrumental with Jeremy Spencer and Bob Brunning completing the line-up. They took on the new name of Fleetwood Mac. The band had success in the UK with their first two albums and in 1968, with the addition of guitarist, Danny Kirwan, they finally achieved their first number one single, Albatross. However, Fleetwood Mac’s third album, They Play On, would be Peter Green’s last with the band, Without Peter Green, Danny Kirwan would take on the lead role within the group In 1970, Christine McVie, the wife of John McVie was yet another addition, after having provided backing vocals and album artwork for the new line-up.
Yet more changes came to the band’s line-up with Kirwan sadly having to leave due to problems with alcoholism, Songwriter Bob Welch replaced him, but then departed shortly after. Fleetwood Mac with the line-up of Mick Fleetwood, Stevie Nicks, Lindsey Buckingham and John and Christine McVie entered its second chapter. In 1975 they released what would ironically be their second self-titled album, which would top the US Billboard chart and featured the hit single Rhiannon, written by Stevie Nicks But as the album reached number one in the US and began shifting units of over five million, the band’s personal lives were becoming strained. In 1977 the band released Rumours.
The lyrics of the songs written by each member of the band exposed the personal turmoil that existed within the group Rumours has, to date, sold over 45 million copies worldwide, making it one of the biggest selling albums of all time. Influenced by new wave and punk, Buckingham convinced the band to go for a more experimental approach for the highly-anticipated follow-up album, Tusk. The Athens concert marked a double première: it was the first Europakonzert under the direction of the new chief conductor, as well as the first time Rattle and Barenboim appeared together. The Odeon of Herodes Atticus, an amphitheatre built in 161 AD in memory of Herodes Atticus’ wife, is situated on the slope of the Acropolis. After the disastrous premiere of the composer’s Symphony No. 1 in 1897, Rachmaninoff seriously doubted his ability as a symphonist. Almost a decade later, in October 1906, he started composing his Symphony No. 2. Months of revisions followed. He finished this large orchestral work in the summer of 1907, followed by a highly successful 1908 premiere in St. Petersburg. This performance at the magnificent Teatro Real in Madrid, Spain is part of the Europakonzert 2011. | |

Birmingham in the late 1960s was an industrial city, packed with music groups. At its height, the New Musical Express had reported 500 on its bustling circuit and from two of these groups, Black Sabbath was formed.
The Beatles would be a key influence for Ozzy, but bassist Geezer Butler also shaped Ozzy’s work, through his lyrics After signing to Vertigo Records in 1970, the four piece used their distinctive sound to full effect for their self-titled debut album, Black Sabbath. Black Sabbath became a commercial success, entering the UK top 10 and the US charts. In it’s first year it sold one million copies.
Keen to build on the success, the band entered the studio just four months after releasing their debut. The title track, Paranoid, would lead the new album.

Devised by San Francisco Symphony Music Director Esa-Pekka Salonen, pianist Jean-Yves Thibaudet, and Cartier in-house perfumer Mathilde Laurent, the San Francisco Symphony and Cartier present a multisensory production of ‘Prometheus’. This collaborative world premiere combines dynamic musical and light performance with olfactory curation, subsuming audiences in Scriabin’s creative vision more than a century after the piece of total art was composed.
