Performance and humour, playfulness and defiance, all in a single choreography!
True to its origins, Mourad Merzouki's style retains the lyricism, punch and spirit of its urban roots.
It is also an 'open window on the world', revealing the scope of the choreographer's artistic project.
With clenched fists and open arms!

Three strong musical personalities united in a closely-knit trio, twenty years of shared experiences, seventeen official albums, hundreds of guests from all kinds of musical horizons, such is the story of Aka Moon. Over the past twenty years, they have fashioned a musical language that finds its roots in Indian, African, Cuban, Western, African-American, Arab and Bulgarian music. Invited by Jazz Station in Brussels to celebrate their twentieth anniversary, they allowed this live concert to be recorded.
