| 14:55 | | The Amazing Keystone Orchestra plays the music of Quincy Jones at Jazz à Vienne
Since their student days at the Conservatoire, pianist Fred Nardin, saxophonist Jon Boutellier, trombonist Bastien Ballaz and trumpeter David Enhco have been joint leaders of the band and the main contributors to its arrangements. The 18 brilliant members of the band are not just fans of Count Basie, Duke Ellington and Thad Jones. For them, playing with this remarkable group of musicians is a chance to experiment with new ideas. For this exceptional night under the watchful eye of the great Quincy Jones, the band chose to revisit a selection of themes composed by Quincy over the past six decades. Wouldn't it be perfect if Mr. Jones suddenly decided to conduct some of his favourite arrangements? The ideal moment would seem to be when The Amazing Keystone Big Band will call on special guest Michel Hausser. The vibraphonist is coming directly from Alsace with a composition especially written for him by Quincy Jones.

| 01:30 | | TRIO JOACHIM KÜHN - DANIEL HUMAIR - BRUNO CHEVILLON « WE RE-REMEMBER J.F. » at LIKE A JAZZ MACHINE
Joachim Kühn is one of the great piano virtuosos of our time. Although he has reached the highest stage of musical maturity, he remains nonetheless open for new encounters. His playing defies all categorization, and has earned him a place as a world class musician. He has already left his mark on contemporary jazz and given it a new direction. He sees himself as part of the jazz tradition, connected to European concert music and yet directly indebted to a contemporary musical language. He displays vehemence and sensibility, a virtuoso technique and imagination and an unfailing sense of dynamics. He formed a legendary trio with Jean-François Jenny-Clarke and Daniel Humair and played with such diverse musicians as Gato Barbieri, Don Cherry, Phil Woods, Michel Portal, Billy Cobham, Michael Brecker, Albert Mangelsdorff, Joe Lovano, and his brother Rolf Kühn. Since 1996, he worked repeatedly with Ornette Coleman. Be it in his interaction with long-time musical partners such as Daniel Humair, the great Swiss drummer, or Bruno Chevillon, one of the foremost bassists of the younger generation, in ever new and challenging musical constellations, or alone in his solo performances, Kühn always manages to make his concerts into a unique experience.
| 02:30 | | Amparo Sanchez at the 'Au Fil Des Voix' Festival
After the success of her ensemble Amparanoia with Manu Chao and general praise for her first solo album, the Spanish diva is back with a new show and a new recording, 'Alma de Cantaora'.
Amparo Sanchez's new songs reveal her rich sensibility, exploring its many facets. 'The Soul of a Singer' is an invitation to relish the small joys in life. The show, devised and rehearsed in the mountains of Catalonia, Barcelona and the Spanish Basque country, with a superb team of musicians, Spanish and Latin dancers from many horizons, tells the story of a simple life.
Spirituality is at the heart of titles celebrating 'Abuela Margarita', a famous Colombian shaman. The arrangements are restrained and largely acoustic, emphasizing the intimate character of the texts.
Amparo Sanchez celebrates the Spanish song repertoire with modesty and feeling, and successfully renews the genre.
