| 05:00 | | Impromptu Quartet - Sons D'Hiver
François Corneloup .............................................. Bariton saxophone
Bruno Chevillon.................................................... Double bass
Bernard Lubat......................................................Drums
Bojan Z...............................................................Keyboards
The music of this ensemble, created for the ' Sons d'hiver ' festival, is a fusion of very groovy sounds. It's creative density comes from a balanced melange of funk, rock, jazz and electro influences. With Bojan Z (Zulfikarpasic) on keyboards, Bernard Lubat on the drums, Bruno Chevillon on the double bass and François Corneloup on the baritone saxophone, it was François who created the 'Impromptu Quartet' around their compositions. We can sometimes recognise the influence of well-known standards, but the rest is unique. Uplifting and enthusiastic, the groups very 'jazzy' music flows with the exquisite improvisation of Bojan Z, the amazing precision of Chevillon, the unparalleld energy of Lubat and above all the communicative smile and joy of Corneloup, excellent on the baritone sax.
